Na Sessão Ordinária desta terça-feira (3), no Plenário da Câmara Municipal de Araraquara, foi aprovado um novo subsídio mensal dos vereadores para a 19ª Legislatura, com início em 1º de janeiro de 2025 e término em 31 de dezembro de 2028. O debate em torno do valor foi reaberto recentemente e concluído com a aprovação, nesta sessão, de um subsídio fixo para o próximo mandato de R$ 12.900,00 — o mesmo aprovado recentemente para os secretários municipais. Uma emenda foi apresentada com objetivo de manter os atuais R$ 8 mil de subsídio, mas não foi aprovada.
Votaram contra os vereadores Lineu (Novo), Lucas Grecco (PRD) e Rafael de Angeli (Republicanos).
